Welcome to the Village Square at http://stephenritson.com. You're most welcome to just speak your mind on any subject that takes your fancy.
Wanna just let off steam? Tha's cool. Need help or want to offer it? I'm grateful for your time. Fancy rolling out a couple of words of praise to encourage me to keep my nose to the production grindstone for you? I luuuuuuv reading those! Miffed at my arrogance, ignorance or lack of wit and discipline? I'm always grateful for the guidance (once I've bandaged my heart).
As you can see on the right, I've set up some categories, in an attempt to make it easier to navigate. However, I know from your comments on the late Talk Radio Europe forum that some of you prefer a single thread. You may be right. I suggest we try it for a while and, if it feels right, I'll reduce the category list to perhaps one or two.
It's quite possible, of course, that particular subjects develop naturally (there's a word for it but, as I write this, it escapes me) and warrant their own topic. The future category list might include such terms as... Spanish Local Elections, The EU, Land Laws, Spanish Law, British Embassy Notices, Computer Help, UK Govt, US Govt, Spanish News, Private Banking, Pensioners' Advice, Israel/Palestine, What's On, Telly, Bringing up children in Spain, Cooking, Learning Spanish and, of course, of course, of course... Talk Radio Europe. I trust you agree with me that it's clearly preferable to just see what happens and take it from there.
For now, please try and post in the right category. If I DO alter or reduce these following the consensus of your advice, I will make damn sure I don't lose any of your threads and will copy them all to the alternative location.
Finally... err... I'd be honoured if you took just a moment before clicking 'send' to revise your post. Personally I'm not particularly bothered about foul language - 'cussing', as Americans would say. Just try and be clear - incoherent rants are such a bore for everyone else. If you're not fit to get behind the wheel then... the chances are you should revise your post before indulging us with it.
